Q: What is Daily Events?
A: Daily Events is a service for news publishers — an automated system that retrieves already published event reports from local to international levels, across 193 countries (5-minute check cycle), and generates Feeds & Structured Reports for each country separately, based on a User’s selected country or countries (User Selection).
Use case: Fast editorial decisions on further reporting of international events relevant to the local audience.
Output:
- Feed – for Rapid Awareness of events
- Structured Reports – for Quick Understanding of each event
Q: How do I get access to the Service?
A: Registration is by invitation only. To request an invitation, email contact@dailyevents.news with a brief description of your use case (e.g., your publication, country of interest). If approved, you will receive a registration key by email. Approval is at the Provider’s sole discretion.
Q: Is Daily Events a news service or media outlet?
A: No. Daily Events is not a news or media organization, publisher, content aggregator or curator, fact-checking or verification service, source of truth, or editorial/creative platform. It does not employ journalists, does not verify facts, and does not apply human editorial judgment. The .news domain describes the category of data the system processes, not the nature of the service itself.
Q: What exactly am I paying for?
A: Any subscription (paid or free) grants a Right of Access to the Service’s technical capability to generate Feeds & Structured Reports based on your selected country (User Selection). Subscriptions are for the automated processing capacity, not for any specific informational content or guaranteed volume of reports. Each country selection is a separate subscription.
Q: Why don’t the Structured Reports cite sources?
A: The Service is source-agnostic — it does not record, store, or display the origin of any narrative. Citing a source creates implicit bias (cognitive suggestion). For user convenience, every Structured Report includes the Event online coverage button, queries Google for a list of active links to articles from publishers already covering the event.
Q: Are the Structured Reports fact-checked or verified?
A: No. All Structured Reports are machine-generated with zero human editorial input. Structured Reports may contain errors, false contradictions, or misleading flags. All information must be independently verified before any reliance or use.
Q: Who is behind Daily Events?
A: Daily Events is an independent project, built and operated by Deni Andonov as an individual (natural person). When you email contact@dailyevents.news, you are communicating directly with the founder and operator.
Understanding the Structured Report
Q: What is the difference between a Feed and a Structured Report?
A: The Feed is a chronological list of event titles only, designed for Rapid Awareness — a quick scan of what is happening. A Structured Report is the full machine-generated analysis of a single event, designed for Quick Understanding — containing Taxonomy, Public Narrative: Decomposition, and Public Narrative: Deconstruction.
Q: What are the sections of a Structured Report?
A: Each Structured Report is organized into three main sections:
- Taxonomy: Scope, Category, Tags.
- Public Narrative: Decomposition: Core Statement (WHAT, WHO, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, HOW), Mentioned Persons, Mentioned Organisations.
- Public Narrative: Deconstruction: Detected Gaps, Investigative Leads.
Q: What is “Taxonomy” in a Structured Report?
A: Taxonomy classifies the event by Scope (Local, Regional, National, International), Category (e.g., Crime, Health, Political Finance), and Tags (specific keywords related to the event).
Q: What is “Public Narrative: Decomposition” in a Structured Report?
A: Public Narrative: Decomposition isolates core claims and contextual data from the public narrative. It extracts WHAT, WHO, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, HOW, mentioned persons, and mentioned organisations.
Q: What is “Public Narrative: Deconstruction” in a Structured Report?
A: Public Narrative: Deconstruction identifies gaps in the narrative and provides investigative leads. It detects missing information (Gaps) and provides actionable open questions for verification.
Q: What language are the Structured Reports in?
A: All Feeds & Structured Reports are generated in English, regardless of the source country. The system is language-neutral in its processing, but the output is standardized in English for consistency.
Usage & Restrictions
Q: Can I share the Structured Reports publicly or on social media?
A: No. The Service and its Structured Reports are licensed for internal research, analysis, and informational purposes only. Public dissemination, republishing, or external sharing of any Structured Report is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service.
Q: Can I publicly cite or reference Daily Events as a source?
A: No. You may not publicly reference, cite, or attribute any Structured Report or information derived from a Structured Report to Daily Events, even when describing your internal use. Any such reference is a material breach of the Terms of Service.
Q: Can I use the Structured Reports for automated trading or as a primary investment signal?
A: No. Under Section 4.2 of the Terms of Service, you are strictly prohibited from using the Service or any Structured Report as the primary or sole basis for any financial trading decision, algorithm, or strategy without independent human verification of the underlying source material. You are also prohibited from using Structured Reports in automated trading systems without real-time human oversight, or for coordinated trading activity intended to manipulate market prices.
Q: Can I use the Structured Reports for legal, financial, or journalistic purposes?
A: The Structured Reports are a starting point only. They are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or journalistic investigation. You bear sole and absolute responsibility for any use, interpretation, or reliance on the Structured Reports. The Provider assumes no liability for any consequences arising from any use of the Structured Reports.
Subscription & Billing
Q: How does the 30-day free trial work?
A: The trial offers 30 days of access to 3 countries of your choice. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the 30-day period, access to trial Feeds & Structured Reports will be revoked. The trial does NOT auto-renew or convert to a paid subscription. To continue, you must actively purchase a paid subscription.
Q: Can I change my selected countries (User Selection)?
A: Your User Selection is fixed at the time of subscription. To change your selection, you must cancel your current subscription and purchase a new one for the desired country. Each country is a separate subscription and cannot be swapped mid-cycle.
Q: Do you offer team or enterprise plans?
A: Not currently. Each subscription is personal and non-transferable. Account sharing is prohibited. For team use, each team member must have their own separate subscription.
Q: How do I cancel my paid subscription?
A: You can cancel your paid subscription at any time directly through your Gumroad account dashboard. Access continues until the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the cycle.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Due to the automated and immediately initiated nature of the Service, no refunds are provided after the 72-hour initialization period has commenced for a new paid subscription. For EU/UK consumers, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. However, you expressly acknowledge that by making a User Selection, you consent to immediate performance, and therefore lose this right once initialization begins.
Q: Who handles my payments and is it secure?
A: All payment processing is handled exclusively by Gumroad, Inc., the official Merchant of Record. Daily Events never sees, handles, or stores your payment card details. Gumroad is a globally trusted, PCI-compliant platform.
Technical & Account
Q: How long does it take for Structured Reports to appear after subscribing?
A: Please allow up to 72 hours for the Service to initialize automated processing for your selected country (User Selection). Structured Reports will begin appearing in your account after this initialization period.
Q: What does “5-minute check cycle” mean?
A: This indicates how often the system polls for new data. It does not guarantee real-time delivery of Structured Reports, as processing time and upstream data availability from global sources may vary.
Q: Why did I receive very few Structured Reports for a specific country today?
A: The volume of Structured Reports depends entirely on real-world event data flowing through global publicly available information channels. The Provider does not generate, create, or guarantee the occurrence of events. An empty or sparse Structured Report list reflects the data retrieved by the system, not a service failure.
Q: Is there an API available?
A: No. The Service does not currently offer a public API. Access is provided exclusively through the web interface for internal use only. Integration into third-party systems is not supported.
Q: Is there a mobile app?
A: No. The Service is accessible through any modern web browser. There is no dedicated mobile application. The web interface is responsive and works on mobile devices.
Q: I have a technical issue. Who do I contact?
A: Please email contact@dailyevents.news. As an individual operator, you are communicating directly with the founder. Your issue will be addressed as promptly as reasonably possible.
