Zaslon JSC is set to construct a new scientific and technical center (STC) in the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg. The decision for the preparation of planning changes, including land surveying, was officially published on the Smolny website on July 30.
The proposed location for the STC is at the intersection of Starogatchinskoye Highway and Krasnoselskoye Highway. The center will focus on scientific research, development, and testing of radio engineering product prototypes. Zaslon JSC will fund the documentation development for the project.
Zaslon JSC is a company specializing in the creation and manufacturing of equipment for aviation, shipbuilding, microelectronics, and software.
Towards the end of the previous year, the company revealed its plans to erect new buildings spanning a total area of 34,000 square meters. This construction was planned for the area bordered by Starobryadcheskaya Street, Mitrofanyevskoye Highway, the projected extension of Ligovsky Prospekt, and the railway right-of-way. The estimated investment for that project was 2 billion rubles.
Additionally, Zaslon had previously announced intentions to construct a new industrial park, featuring a scientific and production center, in the Moscow district, with an estimated value of 12.5 billion rubles.
