Yekaterinburg Schoolgirl Achieves Perfect Score on Chemistry Unified State Exam

Vlada Sutyagina, a recent graduate of Lyceum No. 130 in Yekaterinburg, has achieved a perfect score of 100 points on the Chemistry Unified State Exam (EGE). Her exceptional performance has not only secured her place among the top students in the region but also highlights her dedication and passion for the subject.

Vlada’s success extends beyond academics, as she previously won the “Bolshaya Peremena” competition in 2024, earning her a significant financial reward. This victory underscores her talent and commitment to excellence.

Her interest in chemistry began in elementary school, fueled by engaging experiments presented in an elective class. This early exposure familiarized her with the periodic table, long before it became part of the formal curriculum. Vlada attributes her fascination with chemistry to its blend of aesthetics and mathematics, elements she finds particularly appealing.

Despite feeling slightly nervous before the exam, as it was the first one she took, Vlada felt confident once she started. She described the exam as pleasant, noting that while some questions required careful consideration, the overall experience was positive.

Looking ahead, Vlada plans to pursue higher education at the Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology in Moscow. Her aspirations include working in a scientific laboratory and continuing her studies with a master’s and postgraduate degree. While she has not yet decided on a specific area of specialization, she is eager to explore the diverse fields within chemistry.

Vlada’s family has been supportive of her academic pursuits, celebrating her achievements with a family dinner. She also acknowledges the invaluable guidance of her teacher, Rushinova Tatyana Mikhailovna, who she credits with laying the foundation for her knowledge.

In preparation for the EGE, Vlada dedicated significant time to studying, alternating between chemistry, advanced mathematics, and Russian language. She also balanced her studies with leisure activities, including spending time with friends and attending concerts. In addition to her academic pursuits, Vlada enjoys hobbies such as collecting diamond mosaics, knitting, and drawing.
