A newly restored 19th-century mansion in Yekaterinburg is seeking a tenant, despite housing a popular registry office. An advertisement for the property has been posted on Avito.
Located at 3 Karla Libknekhta Street, the 783-square-meter mansion is situated in the historical center of Yekaterinburg and is considered an architectural monument.
The advertised rental price is three thousand rubles per square meter per month, excluding VAT and utility bills.
The estate of Rotmistr Pereyaslavtsev recently underwent a three-year restoration by “Business House on Arkhireyskaya,” with approximately 160 million rubles invested. Following the restoration, a registry office opened in the mansion and quickly became a popular wedding venue.
“Business House on Arkhireyskaya” clarified that the advertisement is a “technical announcement” due to the registry office’s lease agreement nearing expiration. The company is collecting lease applications as a standard procedure for commercial spaces.
The company stated that the registry office is unlikely to move, as the building is specifically adapted for use as a “Wedding Palace” and is highly popular with newlyweds. An extension of the lease agreement is expected to be resolved soon.
In March, “Business House on Arkhireyskaya” opened another restored mansion in central Yekaterinburg, after investing 300 million rubles.
