A conflict at a reinforced concrete products factory in the Vyborgsky district resulted in a shooting and subsequent intervention by the security service. The incident took place on the morning of July 30th in the 3rd Verkhny Pereulok.

A 52-year-old overhead crane operator and a 40-year-old workshop foreman engaged in an argument that escalated when the crane operator allegedly fired several shots at the foreman using an air pistol.

Factory security personnel swiftly responded to the situation, subduing the crane operator and handing him over to law enforcement.

The crane operator was taken into custody, and a protocol was drawn up for petty hooliganism. Authorities are currently considering whether to initiate a criminal case in connection with the incident.
