A 42-year-old worker died at a construction site in Krasnoyarsk on June 2nd after being struck by a falling metal container. The incident occurred at a residential complex on Dudinskaya Street, prompting a criminal investigation.

The worker was near the building when a large metal garbage container, attached to a crane, fell on him from the 17th floor. He died at the scene due to his injuries.

Authorities have opened a criminal case under the article addressing safety violations during construction work that result in death through negligence.

The deceased was working as a handyman at the site but was not officially employed by the contractor. While he was wearing overalls and a construction helmet, the protective gear did not prevent the fatal injury.
