The body of a woman was discovered at a waste sorting plant in Nizhny Tagil after being found on a conveyor belt among the waste. The woman’s corpse was inside a large black bag when it was discovered in early July by shocked employees, who immediately halted work and contacted the police.

An investigation revealed that the woman’s death was not the result of a crime. Authorities were able to identify the woman through fingerprint analysis and trace the origin of the garbage bag using GLONASS tracking data from the garbage trucks.

According to an informed source, the woman had been drinking with others in the Vagonka district before passing away from natural causes. Instead of reporting the death, the individuals she was with placed her body in a bag and disposed of it in a garbage container.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has not released an official statement regarding the incident.

The body was transported to the sorting plant via garbage truck, where it was unloaded onto an open area. A front loader then moved the black bags onto a conveyor belt equipped with a bag opener. The woman’s body then traveled along the belt to the workers, who were understandably shocked by the discovery.

Oblkommunenergo’s press service confirmed the discovery, stating that employees found the woman’s corpse after the garbage truck was unloaded onto the conveyor belt. Law enforcement was promptly notified.
