A 40-year-old woman died after being stabbed on a beach near the Park of the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg in the Primorsky district. The incident occurred the previous day, and a suspect has been detained.

Police responded to a call reporting the stabbing at approximately 4:00 PM. The caller stated that an intoxicated man had attacked the woman, prompting him and his friends to hide.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim on the beach with a chest wound. She was transported to Elizavetinskaya Hospital in an unconscious state but died shortly after.

A 43-year-old St. Petersburg resident was apprehended at the scene. He was taken into custody, and authorities are currently determining whether to initiate a criminal case.
