A 41-year-old woman was shot in the face with a plastic bullet while walking her dogs in the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region. The incident occurred on Evropeysky Prospekt in Kudrovo, prompting a police investigation.

The woman was walking with a friend and two dogs on a soccer field when they were confronted by a man in a camouflage jacket who objected to them walking their animals there. According to the victim, the man became rude and then walked towards the building’s main entrance.

Moments later, the man allegedly began shooting at the women from a common balcony using what appeared to be an airsoft gun. One of the plastic bullets struck the woman in the face.

Responding officers discovered three plastic bullets in the yard. Authorities confirmed that the woman did not require medical attention.

Police are currently searching for the shooter and are considering initiating a criminal case. The Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region is handling the investigation.
