A woman in St. Petersburg has given birth to a child after being told she was unable to conceive. The St. Petersburg Health Committee press service announced the surprising event on July 31.
Inga, who already has four adopted children, had long desired a large family. Doctors had informed her at the age of 18 that she would be unable to have biological children. Inga became an adoptive mother to two children during her first marriage. She later remarried, and her husband also had two children.
According to the Health Committee, Inga had accepted that she would not have a biological child as her family was already large. Unexpectedly, Inga became pregnant. The pregnancy was a complete surprise to her and her family.
Although the birth was premature, it went smoothly. Inga’s phone has been constantly ringing with congratulations since the baby’s arrival. Inga stated, “We have five. And this is happiness.”
