A woman in Asbest, Russia, has been detained after abducting a six-year-old girl from a playground. The woman, known to local residents, lured the child to her home and refused to open the door to anyone.

The incident has caused considerable concern among parents in the area, especially since the woman has been known to frequent school number 24. According to one mother, the woman previously stalked her daughter, even following her and her husband in the forest and trying to persuade the child to go with her.

Local sources report that the woman was once a successful creative individual, involved in city events and teaching children to dance. However, she reportedly suffered from an illness that changed her behavior, and her own daughter was taken away from her by her parents.
