Two wild boars were seen near the I.P. Romanenko Palace of Culture in Sysert, surprising local residents. The animals were recorded on video calmly walking on the lawn close to the city center landmark.
This sighting follows several other recent incidents of wild boars approaching populated areas in the region.
According to game manager Evgeny Surnin, it is important to avoid approaching or provoking the animals. He advises allowing them to move away on their own.
Surnin also stated that the presence of the boars can be seen as a positive sign, reflecting successful wildlife conservation efforts in the area.
Over the past summer, there have been multiple reports of wild boars venturing into urban areas. In one instance, three animals were spotted near a parking lot in Yekaterinburg. Additionally, gardeners in the Neftyanik horticultural society, located near the village of Ayat, have reported crop damage caused by wild boars.
