The city’s chief weatherman, Alexander Kolesov, has indicated that short-term precipitation is expected, particularly in the first half of the day.

Despite the likelihood of rain, temperatures are anticipated to be mild, ranging from +20…+22 degrees Celsius, with a potential peak of +25 degrees Celsius. This should make conditions more comfortable for participants, especially those in costumes.

Adding to the positive outlook, the water temperature in the Neva River is currently +24 degrees Celsius, while in the Gulf it is +23…+25 degrees Celsius. These temperatures are expected to remain consistent through the weekend.

The “Fontanka SUP” festival is a major summer event, attracting over 10,000 participants in colorful costumes who navigate the city’s waterways on stand-up paddleboards.

This year’s anniversary festival will extend beyond the water, culminating in a celebratory party.
