A warehouse fire in Akademgorodok on Arbuzov Street was extinguished on August 1st, according to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region.

The fire, which engulfed a one-story building spanning approximately 50 square meters, prompted the response of 47 personnel and 15 pieces of equipment.

Four individuals self-evacuated from the building. Two people inhaled smoke but declined to be taken to a hospital.

Firefighters successfully extinguished the open burning around 12:45 PM. The scene was thick with acrid white smoke carrying the smell of burnt plastic as Ministry of Emergency Situations employees worked to douse the structures.
