A virtual concert hall has been established in the children’s art school of Mogochi, Zabaykalsky Krai, enabling residents to enjoy virtual concerts by artists from Moscow and St. Petersburg. The announcement was made on May 29 during the “Heroes. Victories. Future” round table held in the hall.
The project, realized under the national “Culture” initiative, involved an investment of 1.75 million rubles, covering the costs of renovating the space and acquiring necessary equipment.
The virtual concert hall allows Mogochi residents to access both regional and federal level performances.
In the past year, the hall has showcased virtual concerts featuring prominent artists and ensembles, including the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic with People’s Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev, the Virtuosos of Moscow orchestra, and the Leonid Lundstrem Jazz Orchestra.
The concert hall officially opened in June 2024 and has been operational for over a year. Since 2024, similar virtual concert halls have also been inaugurated in Balei and Nerchinsk.
