The “Vasin Sad” Grand Cafe, a landmark in the “Vasileostrovets” garden, has closed its doors after 25 years of operation. The establishment ceased operations in early June, with dismantling of the pavilion observed on June 6.
The cafe’s closure marks the end of an era for many visitors who frequented the garden. The owners of the cafe announced June 1st as their last day at the location.
The Property Control Committee confirmed that the company is leaving the “Vasileostrovets” garden, with entrepreneurs dismantling the structures. The lease agreement was terminated in March due to its expiration.
LLC “APRIL-XXI CENTURY”, managed the cafe, with Yaroslav Alimpiev as the owner. The company’s revenue in 2024 reached 1.6 million rubles, with a profit of 252 thousand rubles.
