Police are investigating after vandals damaged four monuments at the Kinoveevskoe Cemetery in St. Petersburg’s Nevsky district. The incident was reported to authorities on June 5th by a 47-year-old security guard.
The security guard discovered the damage during a tour of the cemetery, located on Oktyabrskaya Embankment. He found that black slabs belonging to the monuments had been broken into pieces.
Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the vandalism. Authorities are actively searching for those responsible for the damage.
