Vacationing at the Krasnodar Territory resorts on the Black Sea and Azov Sea in June 2025 will cost an average of 15-20% more than last summer, according to tour operators. Increased prices are attributed to inflation, higher utility costs, and rising food prices.
While the Krasnodar Territory remains a popular summer holiday destination in Russia, accounting for 35% of the total tourist flow, interest has declined somewhat due to beach closures in Anapa caused by ongoing fuel oil cleanup. Rospotrebnadzor has deemed the beaches of Gelendzhik, Tuapse, and Sochi safe for swimming, as well as the Azov Sea.
Sochi currently leads in sales of summer tours to the Krasnodar Territory, accounting for approximately 60% of tours sold to the region, followed by Gelendzhik with 19%, Anapa with 12%, Tuapse with 6%, and the Azov coast with 3%. Last year, Anapa was more popular than Sochi.
The Azov Sea resorts are gaining popularity, experiencing a significant increase in demand, with sales up three to four times compared to last year. Yeysk and Temryuk are particularly in demand due to the limited impact from the oil spill.
The minimum cost of hotel accommodation is from 2500-3000 rubles per person per day, including breakfast. All-inclusive hotels with three meals a day and alcohol in Sochi cost 15,000-20,000 rubles per person, while three meals a day costs around 10,000 rubles per person per day. Gelendzhik’s prices are comparable to Sochi’s, while Tuapse district resorts like Novomikhailovsky and Lermontovo are more economical, starting from 2000 rubles. Prices on the Azov Sea are comparable to those in the Tuapse district.
