The number of people injured in the train bridge collapse in the Bryansk region has risen to 119, according to the head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz. Tragically, seven individuals have died as a result of the incident.
The bridge collapsed on the night of June 1, with debris falling onto a passenger train. Among the injured are five children.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has classified the incident, along with a bridge explosion in the Kursk region, as terrorist acts. Russian President Vladimir Putin has commented on the situation.
