A young woman attacked a car carrying a family, including a child, on the Peterhof highway. The incident occurred on Sunday evening near the intersection with Pioners Stroya Street, as the family was driving home from Strelna.

The woman ran onto the road and began attacking vehicles, eventually jumping onto the hood of the family’s car. The child in the car became frightened and started screaming. The driver’s wife immediately contacted the police and an ambulance because the attacker was covered in blood.

Video footage shows the attacker striking the windshield with her hands and feet while on the hood of the car. The driver, along with other motorists, detained the woman until law enforcement arrived at the scene. Prior to attacking the family’s car, the woman reportedly damaged a Yandex Taxi vehicle.

The attacker is estimated to be around 20 years old. Eyewitness reports suggest she may have been beaten by an acquaintance and allegedly used illegal substances before the incident.
