Vika and Grisha Krepp, siblings who disappeared in the Ural forest last summer, were found alive, bringing relief and tears of joy to people across Russia. The search for the children captivated the nation, with efforts spanning both ground and air.

The search headquarters, active since their disappearance on June 8th of the previous year, was eventually closed after the children were located.

Following their rescue, the exhausted children received immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital. They were then transported by helicopter to their hometown of Tyumen.

Grisha Krepp recounted their ordeal, sharing how they survived by staying close and keeping each other warm. He also mentioned filtering water through his T-shirt and his determination to survive despite his fear that they wouldn’t be found.
