Two individuals in Leningrad Oblast were hospitalized on June 5th after being bitten by vipers. Both victims were admitted to the intensive care unit in moderate condition.
In the Gatchinsky district, a 17-year-old boy was bitten on the finger by a snake at the Elizavetinsky quarry.
The second incident occurred in the Vsevolozhsky district, in the village of Lembolovo, where a 16-year-old from St. Petersburg was bitten on both hands. According to preliminary reports, the teenager was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the snake bite.
