Two young men have been arrested in Novosibirsk for allegedly kidnapping and illegally imprisoning a 17-year-old girl. The Kirov District Court made the decision today, charging 20-year-old Sergey Kondrashkin and 18-year-old Vladislav Krutenkov under Articles 126 and 127 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, Kondrashkin, who has a prior conviction for hooliganism, and Krutenkov allegedly conspired to kidnap the girl. They are accused of forcibly transporting her in a car from a store to an area near Bugrinskaya Grove.

The official statement indicates that the girl was subjected to physical violence and threats. The suspects allegedly took turns hitting her and making threats endangering her life and health.

While one source suggests the incident stemmed from a romantic conflict due to the victim being the daughter of a judge of the Novosibirsk Regional Court, another source close to the victim claims the motive was different. This source described it as an “ordinary teenage conflict” where words were exchanged.

The Investigative Committee is currently working to determine the exact motives behind the crime.

Both men will be detained for two months, until July 27, 2025, as decided by the court.
