Two girls, ages 11 and 12, died on Saturday around 5:00 PM when concrete slabs collapsed in an abandoned building in the village of Terpilitsy, Leningrad Region. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Leningrad Region has released video footage from the scene.

The incident occurred at an abandoned agricultural enterprise. The girls were trapped under the rubble and did not survive.

A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident. The investigation is being conducted under the article pertaining to causing death by negligence to two or more persons.
