The father of Daler Bobiev, Khudzhanoviddin Bobiev, attended the court hearing for Veronika Naumova, the guardian accused of his son’s death, on June 5. He stated that Naumova has never apologized for Daler’s death and that he finds her testimony untrustworthy.

Khudzhanoviddin expressed his disbelief in Naumova’s words, stating that she behaves brazenly and only cries when Daler is mentioned, claiming to have been a good mother. He believes she should have considered her actions long before Daler’s death. He had previously demanded 10 million rubles in moral compensation from Naumova.

Naumova denies her guilt in Daler’s death, admitting only to accusations of fraud. Daler Bobiev’s disappearance was reported in June 2023, with claims that he left home and did not return. His body was discovered on June 29 in a bag, revealing that he had been killed six months prior.

Naumova faces 62 criminal charges, including allegations of systematic beatings, torture with particular cruelty, and torment of the child. The cause of Daler’s death was determined to be asphyxia due to drowning. The trial is ongoing.
