The XII Trans-Baikal International Film Festival in Chita will offer master classes and practical sessions for aspiring screenwriters, directors, and cinematographers from June 5 to 8. Organizers announced the program, which will delve into key aspects of filmmaking.
The festival will take place at the “Technopark of the Trans-Baikal Territory” located at Balyabina, 44. Pre-registration is required for all interested individuals.
The program will cover priority topics, including the dramatic foundations of films, the structure of film production stages, and the creation of both short and feature-length films. Participants will have the opportunity to analyze their own film work with professionals, receiving feedback and developing strategies for project promotion.
A creative film laboratory, led by Lidia Filippova, will also be held during the festival, featuring lectures, practical exercises, and the shooting of a short documentary art sketch about Chita. Participant selection for this lab is already complete.
