Train traffic in the Bryansk region has been restored following the terrorist attack on May 31 that destroyed a bridge. The incident involved a passenger train approaching the bridge, resulting in its derailment.

The locomotive sustained significant damage during the incident.

Tragically, the attack resulted in seven fatalities, including the train drivers.

Over one hundred injured individuals were transported to hospitals for treatment. Rescue efforts were complicated, requiring rescuers to cut through the carriages to evacuate the passengers.

In a nearly simultaneous event, another bridge collapsed in the Kursk region as a freight train was passing over it. The train cars derailed and fell onto the road.

The driver of the freight train sustained injuries in the incident. Authorities have officially recognized both incidents as terrorist attacks.
