A 9-year-old boy tragically died in the village of Glubokoe, Vyborg district, after massive iron gates fell on him. The incident occurred on June 1st on an abandoned plot of land.

The boy was walking with a friend when they entered an empty garage. Heavy gates with an entrance door were leaning against the wall inside the garage.

As the boy attempted to open the gates, the entire structure collapsed, fatally injuring him. This incident follows a similar tragedy in the Leningrad region.

Just the day before, two girls died when the ceiling of an abandoned building collapsed on them in the village of Terpilitsy. Disturbingly, the girls were recording themselves at the time of the incident.
