Significant traffic disruptions are expected in four districts of St. Petersburg starting June 5 due to ongoing road repairs and utility work. The State Administrative and Technical Inspectorate (GATI) announced the restrictions, which will impact drivers on key routes including Kosygina Avenue and Bogatyrsky Avenue.
In Krasnogvardeysky District, Kosygina Avenue will face restrictions from Zanevsky Avenue to Kommuny Street until June 15. This includes intersections and side passages, due to road repairs. Additionally, restrictions are already in place on Boksitogorskaya Street near Kosygina Avenue until the same date. The intersection of Kommuny Street and Khimikov Street will experience disruptions until October 12 due to the construction of the Kommuny Street extension.
Kurortny District will also see traffic limitations. Lindulovskaya Road in the village of Serovo, specifically from Srednevyborgskoye Highway to the Leningrad Region border, will be affected by road repairs until June 20.
In Primorsky District, the side passage of Bogatyrsky Avenue near building 18, building 2, letter A, will have traffic restrictions until July 15 to facilitate water pipeline reconstruction.
Lastly, in Pushkinsky District, Peterburgskoye Highway in Pushkin will undergo road surface repairs, causing traffic limitations until June 10. The affected section spans from Vitebsky Avenue to Egyptian Gates Square, including Egyptian Gates Square itself, intersections, and the “pocket” of Peterburgskoye Highway from Leningradskaya Street to Detskoselsky Boulevard.
