Significant traffic disruptions are expected across nine districts of St. Petersburg due to roadwork and utility maintenance, with new restrictions taking effect from July 20 to 22. Affected areas include Sredny Prospekt V.O., Volkhonskoye Highway, Salova Street, Obukhovskoy Oborony Prospekt, and Sinopskaya Embankment.
In the Admiralteysky District, from July 21 to 22, nighttime traffic will be restricted on Sovietsky Pereulok between 2nd and 1st Krasnoarmeyskaya Streets for engineering network reconstruction.
The Vasileostrovsky District will experience restrictions on Sredny Prospekt V.O. from the 4th-5th Liniya V.O. to the 8th-9th Liniya V.O. from July 21 to August 4, due to heating network reconstruction. Traffic will be closed in the direction from the 4th-5th Liniya V.O. to the 8th-9th Liniya V.O., with detours available via Smolenskaya Embankment and other routes. Additionally, restrictions are already in place on the 6th-7th Liniya V.O. until September 7, and a full closure is in effect until August 4.
The Krasnogvardeisky District will see restrictions on the Murinsky Bridge over the Murinsky Stream from July 20 to August 10 for road repairs. From July 22 to August 9, Malookhtinskaya Embankment will be affected from Respublikanskaya Street to Malookhtinsky Prospekt for gas pipeline installation.
In the Nevsky District, Uezdny Prospekt will have traffic restrictions from July 21 to August 3, between Olga Berggolts Street and Elizarova Prospekt, for gas pipeline construction.
Road repairs in the Petrogradsky District will cause traffic disruptions around Austrian Square from July 21 to 22. The exit from Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt to Mira Street will be closed, with detours provided via Karpovka Embankment and other streets. Existing restrictions on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt will remain in effect until August 29.
The Petrodvortsovy District will experience restrictions on Volkhonskoye Highway in Strelna from July 20 to August 6, between Nizhnyaya Koloniya and Krasnoselskoye Highway, for road repairs. Nikolskaya Street in Peterhof will be closed from July 20 to 22, between Konstantinovskaya Street and Avrova Street, with detours available via Tsaritsynskaya and other streets.
In Pushkin, within the Pushkinsky District, Zheleznodorozhnaya Street will be closed from July 21 to 28, between Glinki Street and Moskovskoye Highway, for engineering network reconstruction.
The Frunzensky District will have traffic restrictions on Salova Street from July 20 to August 18, from the railway overpass to house 36A, for gas pipeline construction.
The Tsentralny District will see restrictions on Chernyshevsky Prospekt from July 22 to August 3, between Voskresenskaya Embankment and Kirochnaya Street, for road repairs. Similar work will impact Obukhovskoy Oborony Prospekt near Sinopskaya Embankment and Sinopskaya Embankment itself. Bakunin Prospekt will also face restrictions from July 22 to August 4, between Ispolkomskaya Street and Sinopskaya Embankment, for engineering network installation. Additionally, long-term restrictions are planned from July 20, 2025 to September 29, 2026, on Aptekarsky Pereulok, Millionnaya Street, and the Field of Mars due to the placement of a pedestrian gallery.
