A multi-vehicle collision has caused significant traffic disruptions on Energetikov Drive in Novosibirsk, blocking lanes and creating extensive congestion. The incident occurred on the section leading towards the Dimitrovsky Bridge, specifically affecting the middle and right lanes.

Eyewitness reports indicate that four vehicles were involved in the accident. Photographs from the scene, shared on social media, show traffic police officers present and investigating the collision.

The resulting traffic jam stretches approximately two kilometers, extending from Energetikov Drive to Stanislavsky Square. Motorists are also experiencing delays on nearby streets, including Shirokaya, Vatutina, and Stantsionnaya, as drivers seek alternative routes.

Authorities have been contacted for an official statement regarding the accident.

In addition to the accident on Energetikov Drive, roadwork on Sibiryakov-Gvardeytsev Street is contributing to traffic congestion in the area, with only one lane open due to heating main repairs.
