Tigran Keosayan, a well-known TV presenter and filmmaker, is currently in a coma after experiencing clinical death in late 2024. His wife, Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of RT, has shared updates on his condition and her hopes for his recovery.
Simonyan revealed that Keosayan’s recovery now depends on divine intervention, urging people to pray for him. She emphasized that while doctors are providing the best possible care, the ultimate outcome rests on a higher power.
She also shared a personal dream of traveling to Odessa with Keosayan and his mother, highlighting the importance of this shared aspiration. This dream underscores her deep personal connection and hope for a future where they can fulfill it together.
The premiere of Keosayan’s latest film, “Seven Days of Peter Semenovich,” took place in Sochi recently. Simonyan attended the event, expressing her unwavering belief that her husband will recover and continue to create films.
Keosayan’s health issues date back to January 2008, when he was hospitalized in a pre-infarction state and underwent an artery stenting procedure. He underwent another operation in 2010, and in December 2024, his condition worsened, leading to clinical death and a coma.
Until recently, Keosayan showed no signs of improvement. However, there are now indications of slight movement, with reports of him beginning to move his eyes and hand. This development offers a glimmer of hope amidst the challenging circumstances.
