Three teenagers were injured in separate traffic accidents in the Leningrad Oblast on June 5th, involving a pedestrian hit by a car, a scooter collision, and a pit bike crash.
The incidents occurred in Tosno, Sosnovy Bor, and on the access road to the MAAPP “Svetogorsk,” resulting in varying degrees of injuries for the young people involved. Police are investigating each incident to determine the circumstances.
In Tosno, at 8:30 AM, a 14-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was struck by a LADA Granta while running across an unregulated pedestrian crossing on Lenin Avenue. The 65-year-old driver was identified, and the injured teenager was hospitalized.
Later, at 1:25 PM in Sosnovy Bor, a 14-year-old girl lost control of her electric scooter on Molodezhnaya Street and collided with a 13-year-old girl also riding a scooter. The 14-year-old was seriously injured and hospitalized, while the younger girl did not sustain any injuries.
The third accident took place at 3:10 PM on the access road to the MAAPP “Svetogorsk,” where a 16-year-old driver of a pit bike lost control, struck a road stone, and overturned the vehicle. The 15-year-old passenger sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital.
