The third stage of the open drift championship Russian Drift Series Open (RDS) is underway near Volokolamsk at the Moscow Raceway in the Moscow region. The event, taking place this Sunday, features 38 drivers from various regions of Russia and Kazakhstan competing for the championship title.

Spectators are witnessing intense competitions in the PRO and NXT categories. The program includes qualifying rounds, paired races, autograph sessions with the drivers, and the awards ceremony.

Despite rain in the Moscow region, the races continue without interruption. Spectators are enjoying the high-speed action and the scent of burning rubber as cars drift around the track.

Footage from the event shows cars speeding and, in some instances, sustaining damage due to collisions. Not all vehicles are making it to the finish line unscathed.

The Russian Drift Series (RDS) is a nationwide drift competition encompassing several regional championships, with the RDS GP (Grand Prix Russian Drift Series) being the premier series. The RDS Grand Prix is recognized as one of the world’s leading drift series.
