Thieves stole valuables worth more than 6 million rubles from the apartment of a microcredit company manager located on the Petrograd side after being granted entry by the owner’s 13-year-old daughter.

The incident occurred at an apartment on Bolshoi Prospekt on the Petrograd side.

The perpetrators gained access to the apartment by posing as law enforcement officers and informing the young girl that they were there to conduct a search.

During the “search,” the thieves focused on a metal safe, ultimately emptying it of its contents.

The safe held approximately 1.5 million rubles in cash and jewelry valued at nearly 4.7 million rubles, according to the owner.

The theft was discovered upon the owner’s return to the apartment.
