A thief stole nearly one million rubles and a safe from a business that buys gold, jewelry, and antiques in the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg. The incident was reported on June 14th.

The theft occurred at a business pavilion located on Privokzalnaya Square in Pushkin. The damage was discovered the previous day, at the start of the workday.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the perpetrator gained access to the second-floor premises after closing hours on June 12th by forcing a window open. The individual then absconded with a metal safe containing the cash and a gold ring.

The estimated value of the stolen contents is approximately one million rubles, according to the appraiser.

Law enforcement officials examined the crime scene and gathered fingerprint evidence. A criminal investigation for theft has been initiated.
