A microcredit company manager in St. Petersburg lost 6.2 million rubles after thieves broke into her apartment and bypassed her safe. The incident occurred in the Petrogradsky district, leaving the 43-year-old woman distraught.
The resident of a house on Bolshoy Prospekt in the Petrogradskaya Storona area reported the theft to the police. She discovered that 1.5 million rubles in cash and jewelry valued at approximately 4.7 million rubles were missing from her safe.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the theft took place on the afternoon of June 5. Two young men, both wearing caps, are suspected of the crime. One of the suspects concealed his face with a medical mask.
Law enforcement has initiated a criminal case concerning theft on a particularly large scale. Authorities are currently searching for the perpetrators involved in the incident.
