A man was attacked by a group of teenagers in Yekaterinburg on July 31st after he made a comment about their behavior on a tram. The police are currently investigating the incident.

The attack occurred after the man, an older passenger, made a remark to the group of teenagers who were reportedly littering, making noise, and swearing on tram number 14. According to a witness, the conductor was hesitant to confront the teenagers.

The teenagers allegedly responded to the man with verbal abuse and threats before following him off the tram at the “House of the Artist” stop. The witness, another passenger, began filming the situation and contacted emergency services.

The group then physically assaulted the man, kicking him and spraying an unknown substance into his face, causing temporary blindness. Despite being urged to seek medical attention, the man declined, stating he had a prior appointment.

The police have registered the report and are investigating the details of the incident and the individuals involved. The victim has been referred for a forensic medical examination to determine the extent of his injuries. The juvenile affairs service is also involved in the investigation.
