A criminal case has been opened following the beating of a disabled teenager in Domodedovo. The Investigative Committee is overseeing the case, classified as hooliganism committed by a group.
The incident occurred on July 9, and involved four teenagers who filmed themselves attacking the victim. The footage circulating on social media depicts the group striking him with fists and feet.
Police have identified and interviewed three of the involved teenagers with their legal representatives present. The fourth is expected to be questioned upon his return from a trip with his parents. Authorities are considering placing the minors on preventive record and holding their parents accountable.
In a separate incident, a 16-year-old was recently arrested for attacking two girls with a hammer in Domodedovo, resulting in the death of one victim. Last year, a group of nationalist teenagers were also put on trial for beating a migrant on a train.
