A 14-year-old boy dressed in a unicorn costume was apprehended in Novosibirsk after vandalizing a shawarma kiosk early this morning. The incident occurred on Petukhova Street at 1:08 a.m. today, July 31st.

According to AB “Gvardiya,” the teenager entered the kiosk and began causing a disturbance. A quick response team arrived on the scene, prompting the boy to flee through a window.

The pursuit of the costumed individual extended for nearly half a kilometer before he was finally detained. Authorities identified the apprehended individual as a fourteen-year-old male wearing a plush unicorn suit.

The teenager confessed to attempting to rob the kiosk for money. However, his efforts yielded only 50 rubles and some change from the cash register, which he had in his possession at the time of his arrest.

The kiosk owner arrived at the scene and estimated the damage to be approximately five thousand rubles. Police officers were also called to the location.

After contacting his mother, she declined to retrieve him, citing the late hour and suggesting he remain at the police station. The teenager was subsequently handed over to the police.
