A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition after being struck by a car in a courtyard on Vasilievsky Island on the evening of September 15th.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the courtyard of house 39/2 on Korablestroiteley Street. The teenager reportedly ran onto the roadway from behind parked cars when he was hit by a Honda CR-V.

The driver of the Honda CR-V was a 25-year-old.

Police are currently investigating the accident to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the event.
