A 17-year-old boy is in serious condition after falling from a balcony on Stoikosti Street in St. Petersburg. The incident occurred in the Kirovsky district on the night of June 4th.

The teenager was discovered beneath the windows of a building and subsequently transported to Children’s Hospital No. 1 with significant injuries. Emergency services were alerted to the situation by a witness.

Police investigation revealed that the boy had been socializing with friends in an eighth-floor apartment prior to the fall. Preliminary findings suggest that he climbed onto the balcony’s concrete barrier multiple times, seemingly attempting to gain attention, before ultimately falling.

Law enforcement officials are currently exploring this version of events as part of their ongoing investigation.
