A 15-year-old girl was found after spending the night in a building stairwell with a 49-year-old illegal migrant from Uzbekistan. The incident occurred after the girl disappeared from a playground on Kustodieva Street in St. Petersburg on May 31st.

The girl’s parents contacted the police after she went missing from a playground around 7:00 PM. Authorities reviewed camera footage and identified the girl being led away by the man.

The girl was located early the next morning near a house on Rudneva Street. During questioning, with her parents present, she stated that she had left the playground with the man, went to a lake, and then to the 13th floor of a building where they spent the night. She reported that the man removed her clothes and kissed her. She then took public transport home in the morning.

Following the incident, the girl was examined at Children’s Hospital No. 5, where doctors diagnosed her with multiple superficial neck injuries. Her condition was assessed as satisfactory.

Authorities are currently considering whether to initiate a criminal case. It was revealed that the man had a prior record for making death threats, although that case was closed after the parties reconciled.
