A taxi crashed into a curb in St. Petersburg’s Admiralteysky district after the driver reportedly suffered an epileptic seizure. The incident occurred at the intersection of the Fontanka River embankment and Gorokhovaya Street.

According to preliminary information, the taxi driver experienced a seizure while on duty.

The driver sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized in intensive care. The passenger was also injured and taken to the hospital in moderate condition.

Video footage shows the taxi colliding with a concrete curb without any apparent attempt to avoid the obstacle. The impact caused the vehicle to recoil slightly.
