Singer Tatyana Kurtukova will perform her popular song “Mother Earth” at the opening of the friendly match between the Russian and Nigerian national teams. The Russian Football Union (RFU) announced this on June 3.

The BetBoom match between Russia and Nigeria is scheduled for June 6 at the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow. The game is set to begin at 20:00 Moscow time.

The RFU press service noted that “Mother Earth” has garnered over 200 million views on Russian and international video platforms in 2024. Kurtukova is known for performing original and Russian folk songs.
