Summer Festival Guide for Yekaterinburg and Surrounding Areas

Yekaterinburg and its surrounding areas are set to host a diverse range of summer festivals, offering a variety of entertainment options for residents and visitors alike. The festivities span from June to August, encompassing music, arts, sports, and culinary experiences.

June is packed with events, starting with the free “Movement” motorcycle festival. This large-scale event features headliners such as Nike Borzov and Diana Arbenina with “Night Snipers.” On June 12th, Mayakovsky Park will host the “Bloggers of Russia” festival, also free, with performances by Dilara, Anya Pokrov, Hype House, Andro, and Nancy & Sidorov. The month will also see the start of the “Stenograffia” and “Summer at the Factory” festivals, with dates to be announced.

The highlight of June is the “Night of Music” on June 27th, taking place at numerous venues across the city. Attendees can look forward to performances by Niletto, the “AK-47” group, Sergei Bobunets, and many others.

July begins with the E1 SUP FEST on July 5th, a free SUP boarding event on the City Pond. Participants are encouraged to wear carnival costumes. On the same day, the STEREOLETO festival will be held in Kharitonovsky Garden, featuring Polnalyubvi, ZOLOTO, Beautiful Boys, and other musical acts. Tickets will be required for entry. July also includes the “Life on Wheels” food festival on 1905 Square and the SANDARINA festival in Mayakovsky Park on July 19th.

August promises more exciting events, including a festival of games and cosplay. Builder’s Day will be celebrated in Historical Square on August 9th, with the headliner yet to be announced. Additionally, “Atmofest,” a landscaping event, will take place on the Iset River embankment, and the “Red Line” book festival will offer free admission.

Nizhny Tagil will celebrate City Day on August 9th with a free performance by Yulia Chicherina. The concert will be held behind the Sovremennik cinema.

Yekaterinburg will celebrate its birthday on August 17th, coinciding with the announcement of the new “Miss Yekaterinburg.” A detailed program of the holiday will be released as soon as it is finalized.
