A 19-year-old student in St. Petersburg sustained a broken nose after an altercation with a man he had asked to move aside on a sidewalk. The incident occurred on June 4th on Garazhny Proezd and is currently under police investigation.

The student, identified as Ilya, was riding an electric scooter when he encountered a couple blocking his path. After asking them to move, an argument ensued.

The situation escalated when the man, driving a Toyota Camry, pursued Ilya and punched him in the face after Ilya stopped to end his scooter rental.

Following the attack, Ilya sought help from passersby, who called an ambulance.

Medical examination revealed that Ilya suffered a fractured nose with displacement of fragments, a bruised wound to the frontal region, and a nosebleed. He received outpatient treatment after the initial hospital visit.

Ilya has filed a police report, and authorities are actively searching for the attacker. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region has confirmed that an investigation is underway, and the decision on initiating a criminal case is pending.
