A student was expelled from the Unified State Exam (USE) in Chita on May 23rd after bringing a mobile phone into the examination room. The incident occurred during the history USE.
The press secretary of the Chita Education Committee confirmed that the student was removed from the exam after the phone rang audibly during the test. This action constitutes a violation of the USE regulations.
According to the regulations, students are prohibited from using mobile phones, headphones, smartwatches, cheat sheets, USB drives, and other means of communication or information storage during the exam.
Other violations that can lead to expulsion and cancellation of results include communicating with other exam participants, passing items or materials, and unauthorized actions with exam materials, such as photographing, copying, or removing drafts and exam materials from the room.
