St. Petersburg Weather Forecast: Mild Start to Summer with Warmer Temperatures Approaching

St. Petersburg is expected to experience warmer weather with daytime temperatures around +20 degrees Celsius, according to the city’s chief meteorologist Alexander Kolesov. While the start of summer has been relatively cool, with temperatures slightly below normal, a shift towards more familiar and slightly above-normal temperatures is anticipated.

Monday will be warm, with temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius. However, an approaching cyclone from the west is expected to bring an atmospheric front with rain in the evening. The precipitation zone is predicted to reach Kronstadt around 4 p.m. and then cover the entire city within a couple of hours.

Unstable weather is forecasted for Tuesday, with short-term rains and showers with thunderstorms expected throughout the Leningrad region. The southern regions of the Leningrad region are most likely to be affected by these conditions. Due to the current west wind, it remains uncertain whether the showers and thunderstorms will impact the center of St. Petersburg.
