St. Petersburg Weather Forecast: Heat Continues, Thunderstorms Expected Tomorrow

St. Petersburg is bracing for more hot weather, with thunderstorms anticipated tomorrow. According to the Federal State Budgetary Institution “North-West Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring,” the city will experience partly cloudy conditions on July 30th, with brief showers in some areas towards the end of the day.

The wind will be southeasterly, ranging from light to moderate. Temperatures are expected to reach +30…+32 degrees Celsius in the afternoon, with slightly cooler temperatures of up to +28 degrees Celsius along the coast of the Gulf of Finland. The atmospheric pressure is not expected to change significantly.

While the heat persists, the nights are gradually getting longer. Sunrise occurred around 04:34, and sunset is expected at 21:34, resulting in a day length of 17 hours. This means the night will now last for more than seven hours.

The forecast for the next two days indicates continued heat, with temperatures reaching +30 degrees Celsius or slightly higher. Short-term rains and thunderstorms with gusty winds are also possible during this period.
